Use and Administration

Korus-Omeprazole capsules is a proton pump inhibitors used to inhibit the secretion of gastric acid. It can be used in the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, benign gastric ulcer, peptic ulcer, and the Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease:
Take 1-2 capsules once daily for 4-12 weeks. (Maintenance dose: 1 capsule one daily.)
Treatment of benign gastric and duodenal ulcers:
Take 1 capsule once daily for 4 weeks (in duodenal ulceration) or for 8 weeks (in gastric ulceration).
(Maintenance dose: 1 capsule once daily.):

Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome:
Initiaily, take 3 capsules once daily. (Maintenance dose: 1-6 capsules (20-120mg) daily: above 80mg in
2 divided doses.):
