Today, SB Pharma Limited (SBP) initiated a batch recall for the following product.

SBP received a report indicating that the label on a tube of Acrason Cream was inconsistent with the actual product.

Further investigations by the overseas manufacturer showed that the issue was due to mislabelling of small amount of empty cream tubes for Acrason Cream supplied by material supplier.

The concerned product is a prescription only medicine containing betamethasone, clotrimazole and gentamicin, and is used for treatment of various skin disorders.

SBP has set up a recall hotline 2418 0842 for related inquiries.

SBP will closely monitor the recall and report to Department of Health as appropriate.

So far, SBP has not received any adverse reaction reports in connection with the concerned batch.
